You will need to label the boxes: Giveaway, Decide Later, or Another Room. Sit quietly and think about what you are going to do. Look around your room and pick a place to start. In the first box place things you know that you want to give to charity, don't even think about a yard sale. This will take too much energy. You need to start getting rid of things and conquer clutter today. The 2nd box is the decision box. Place things here that you are thinking of getting out of your life, but you need another day or two to think about it. Box three, place things that belong in another room. Stay in the room until you conquer the clutter. This process should be quick. It's either a keep, giveaway, or decide later. Right now you don't have to put a lot of time thinking about things. If you are unsure put it in the decide later box. Using this method will start you on your way to conquering the clutter in your home today.
The final step would be to make sure those boxes get where they are suppose to go. If it is charity perhaps drive out to one as soon as you are down. There are lots of drop places in every city and town. If you borrowed something from someone else return in now. If it is trash, take it out. Remore the clutter from your home so that you can experience some clutter free living. I use this term alot, but understand that it really is almost impossible to truly conquer all the clutter in your home. Just when we get some out, more comes in, but make the decision, be deterimed and see what you can do with your home to make it clutter free.
